Health systems

We invest our time in transferring knowledge into solutions. YAD presents itself as a thinking tank working with the government and the development partners in health systems strengthening towards fulfilling its components. YAD supports evidence-based interventions through applying the best practices in health, nutrition and social protection.

Epidemiology and research

Through basic, intermediate and advanced trainings, YAD's capacity building program provides enhanced health workforce capabilities in applied epidemiology. Additionally, our approach in field studies supports conveying scientific observations into clinical reasoning that supports the results-based management and data analysis for informed decisions.

Humanitarian response

Through applying the rights-based approach, YAD has been among the first responders to health emergencies. This includes the Cholera outbreak, COVID-19 Pandemic and disease control activities all over Yemen. Our contribution to humanitarian action remains a responsibility and part of our mission to serve Yemeni people especially in hard-to-reach areas.
